Anyone else have any tips for farming? |
This is a great idea if your firm allows you to co-op with outside vendors. If your company doesn’t allow you to co-op then maybe going to your firm and showing them this idea may open a door for the firm to begin paying for your farming material.
One FREE farming tool that I use is Door Hangers. My company supplies the door hangers all I have to do is put the newsletter, just listed, just sold, or open house information together and staple it to the door hanger. Now here is the beauty of this kind of farming. It costs nothing as long as I personally place the door hangers throughout my farm or farms. By distributing my own door hangers it also allows me to door knock and simply meet the people in my farm. If you don’t have the time to hang your own Door Hangers, than paying someone between .06 to .10 cents per door is customary. I’ve hired High School students to distribute my door hangers. On an average it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to distribute 100 door hangers per person. So 5 people distributing door hangers can get 1,000 door hangers done on an average of 2 hours (this all depends on the distance between homes).
Hope this helps. _________________ Troy Sage - Realtor - e-PRO
