An important role in the search engine optimization is having the Google Sitemap. Once you create and submit such a map to Google Webmasters Tool you can directly transfer information for the structure of your web site to the index bots. After that you are receiving important information about the statistics - for example wht kind of keywords the visitors use to find your web sites, what is your average position in Google Keywords for theese key phrases, when was the last time when the Google Crawlers visited your web site, etc.
You can create the Sitemap by yourself without additional skills and knowledge. Just check the Google Tutorials for that. You will also find some automated sitemap generators but my personal experience with them is not really nice. Of course you can try and test Smile

I think it is easiest for us non-techies just to submit the most basic version (site-map.txt), which is just a text file. The xml version were just too much trouble for me. I realize that there are free tools that help out, which might be fantastic for some people. I encourage other agents to try these tools out and report back on them.

I am submitting a basic text file, that looks like this (dummy data).

And on, and on...

This works fine for me and my Venice Florida Real Estate site. Good luck.
