Another great way to raise your rankings is by blogging. Blogging ads fresh content to your site on a daily or weekly basis depending on how often you blog. Search engines like to see fresh content, the more often they see fresh content on your site the more often they will come visit it.
When you blog you can interlink your pages by talking about a page on your site and then linking to it, like talking about Calfornia Real Estate Agents. If your blog is hosted on another server like active rain then linking to your site can just help get yourself some good one way links.

This is true. Blogging is a great help to raise your rankings. Just make sure that you have a rich content in your blog to attract visitors and keep them come back.

I have found good luck with Wordpress blogs, if you use the tags and update several times a week. It is easy to get a site of PR 4 in 3 short months if you update often. One of the best ways I have found to keep ahead of the busy season and not skip a beat is to write a weeks worth of general blog entries for those times when I don't have something handy to write about or I just don't have the time. then it is a matter of copy and paste.
