I’m thinking that if people can sell cars, and paintings and all that stuff on ebay and craigslist, then why can’t I sell my house? Any thoughts?

I was looking for places to put my house up for sale, and instead of ebay and craigslist, I found a site called forsalebyowner . com. That seems more like what I’m looking for.

Just wondering where you think the majority of buyers look for homes? And do you feel the majority of buyers are comfortable enough to purchase a home without representation?

I ask because I have family and clients that have tried those kind of websites and their property never sold. As a matter fact, by not marketing properly, they wasted time, and within that time they lost tens of thousands of dollars due to the market taking a turn.

Just wondering.

Please let me know if the FSBO sites are working for anyone.
