Saving a bit of PR? Or?????? _________________ Matt Pellerin, Realtor

It was something to do with the mod rewrite, so the pages are SE friendly, I will look into this as well because I don't mind them showing up. _________________ Thanks for joining US Real Estate Directory !!! Check out our Blog, that is open to the members to announce their real estate site!!!

Matt,
Signatures can now be viewed to guests and Search Engines. When I added a SEO Mod to the forums it got rid of them for two reasons, It removes repetitive text from the topic pages. As signatures are text that is not usually relevant to the topic they distract search engines dilutelute the key words and for PR drain. |

Cool! But, you sure didn't have to do it for me. Hope you did it because you wanted to. |

This is a good arguement for not changing the way you had things.
I know vBulletin has a hack that only allows a sig to be displayed once per page of each thread no matter how many times one person posts on that page. Not sure about this PHPbb though. |

I'll look into this, that's not a bad idea.
For now I'll leave it the way it is. |

Ok I found it, I was able to do a little modification to the forums and now it will only show your signature once on each topic. Better than not having them there at all, I know you members like the one way links
Thanks to Matt for pointing this out to me and being that they were removed for SEO reasons I'm glad that I was able to reach a middle ground, where we all can be happy. |
