Does that subject line smell a little stinky?

It should. It is a famous line used by a character in South Park which I used to watch years ago.

Well, this is my first post here and I simply wanted to say hello to all!

While I am no expert webmaster by any means, I have a few useful tid-bits to contribute every now and again - so, PAY ATTENTION... J/K. Laughing

Looking forward to seeing who else is here...

Thanks for the invite Gary!

Gary,

Not sure if you are aware, or if I'm the only one seeing this, but, an annoying message box pops up every time I go to another page, post, profile, etc. on this board.

It says "you are about to view... blah, blah, blah... over a secure connection: and so on.

Anyways, just an FYI that it is annoying the heck out of me. So, if anyone else is dealing with this, they might not be so inclined to come back.

You should ask Max about it. He used to have this exact software on his real estate forum before switching to vBulletin so i'm sure he could help you resolve the issue.

Matt,

Thanks for stopping by and saying Howdy Ho:) It's good to see you stopped by, as you always have great insight on a lot of Topics.

About the box that pops up, I'm not seeing it. I don't see it from two different PC's that I use. Maybe some other members can help me out with this and let me know if they are seeing it as well.

I was thinking Ken would have complained about it by now Smile Let me know.

Still getting the "about to view a page over a secure connection" pop up window.

Email me and I'll send you a screenshot. Matt at PhoenixHomes.com

The only thing I can think of is it has something to do with your browser settings. What browser are you using? I just tried it in IE 6.0 and Firefox and couldn't see any Pop up box.

Still getting it with every single click. Mad

I am (have been) viewing your forum in IE version 6.0.2900.2980.

It's not my security settings... unless you have some small glitch that is being caught by my moderate settings.

I've been "forum-ing" since early 2002 and have never seen this on ANY other forum including VB, phpBB or other.

Don't know what to tell you, but if I have this issue I would have to think a few others have it too.

BTW, A big hello to you Ken!!!!!!!! Very Happy

Matt how has business been by you? I was talking with a friend that is an agent down there (newer agent) and he said things are really bad. At the same time I here that from a lot of agents around here and things aren't nearly as bad as these agents think. They just have never seen a normal market.

Actually I think that is going to be a blog post. Think I will actually interview some agents from across the country that have at least 5-10 years experience and have seen the boom, a normaly market, and a truely slow market.

Business is good here! 2005 was my best year income wise and I already surpassed that in June of 2006!

You hit it right on the nose regarding newer agents. I can't wait till most of the ones who only became agents during the boom to go back to their day jobs. Very Happy

Let me know if you want a short interview...

Matt I will want one for sure. Figure I can get some good stuff if I talk with 5 agents that have been around longer than just the last boom. When I am ready I will let you know.

I'm not getting that error message anywhere on this site. I know which one you mean and it's freaking annoying Evil or Very Mad but I haven't seen it here.
