MSN is one of the easiest search engines to rank high with. In my experience I've noticed if you put the keywords that you want to rank for in your title, then add a <H1> tag with your title in the top of your page. Also get as many reciprocal links or one way links even better with the anchor text being the keywords you are wanting to rank for. MSN also likes to see your pages interlinking. _________________ Thanks for joining US Real Estate Directory !!! Check out our Blog, that is open to the members to announce their real estate site!!! I have always found that if you try to rank in the top five on MSN, then no luck. It seems when I don't pay attention to it, it will rank in the top five. Little action from that engine even when I have had the most sought after keywords and ranked number one for them. Get a url with the keyword in it and put the keyword in the title. _________________ La Jolla Real Estate, Del Mar Real Estate, Rancho Bernardo Real Estate and

The new MSN Search is quickly gaining popularity among internet search engine users. Google still being the #1 search engine with Yahoo in #2, and MSN in a strong #3. Each of the three major search engines has their own unique algorithm, and MSN is no different. Over the past several months I have had amazing success with MSN. With a few tweaks and tricks I have all of my sites ranked top 3 (mostly #1’s) with my targeted key words. This article will give you a quick look at how I have managed to rank so high so often.

I find that if you get a good ranking in yahoo and google you should be at a high rank in MSN. With about 10-15% of the market share, however, it is important that you do not neglect MSN as an avenue for marketing your site. So what do you do?
1) Use meta-tags
Although not used heavily by the the other engines anymore, MSN puts high clout in the meta-tags you use. Try using more relevant meta tags and you will see your rank increase.
2) Use a lot of keywords
Stuff one page your website with keywords, its black hat but it works on MSN. However, this may cause your ranking to be jeopardized in yahoo and google.
I hope these tips were helpful |

The truth about MSN is that they seem to constantly change the way they rank pages, so it's difficult to know exactly what they think is important at any one time.
Generally, you want to optimize your page title, meta keywords and description, and make sure the key phrase also shows up in your page's content. You don't want the text to have that phrase too often or too little - each engine seems to have their own idea of what a good density is.
That having been said, understand that MSN really doesn't deliver much traffic. I wouldn't worry too much about how you rank with them, since ten #1 rankings there won't get you anywhere near as much traffic on a single #1 with Google. |

Personally I think that the best thing to focus on would be the objective/content/theme of your site.
Search engines basically work the same way. People will type search terms into them and the search engine will return a list of links.
Since you make no mention on what your site is about or not even providing a link its hard to say specifically what you should be focusing on.
I'll use my own blog as an example. I have an adsense consulting blog and since I'm an adsense consultant I would want a link to my blog to show up high in the rankings when someone types in the term "adsense consultant". Now so far my blog appears on page 1 on Google, MSN and Yahoo. Although they don't appear in the same place on those search engines my blog's link does show up on page one and when you examine the results you will see that those links that appear below or above mine in the search engine rankings appear either more above or more below my link which means that while the search engines may follow certain procedures to decide page rank they don't follow SPECIFIC procedures - otherwise my link would appear in the same place on all the search engines.
You have to decide what keywords you want associated with your site then see where your site ranks using those search terms and if you don't like where your site is ranking you then have to incorporate those search terms into your site more.
If you want a shorter, more faster and more affective approach then you would just have to find out what popular search terms are associated with your site and then work on incorporating THOSE search terms within the content of your site. |

MSN only provide listing to really good websites. and work more intelligently then yahoo and google, over internet user behavoir . for example you can search "Book ads in newspapers" in msn. and see a quality example as top ranked website there.
this website usually appear on msn and yahoo us and uk searches and maintained position over past months. |
