I thought I'd open up a blog section in the forum to talk about blogs. Back in Nov. I wrote a blog post about Real Estate Agents and Blogging. I think this is really important for an agent to have a blog and host it themselves instead of having one on wordpress or blogger. This way all that content you add to the blog is fresh content for your site.

yup it is must having blog it is like an online calling card, and can maximize the search for users in term of house hunting, on the survey today 60% of sales are coming form the internet....

Good idea . But you can gain ad money form your blogs there as well can't you ? . Also wordpress or blogger have nice tools for your blog .

I recently wrote an article in my blog it's about Modern Furnitures and I have my blogsite increase its traffic but not that much. But I'm happy about it. Smile

You mean Gary to buy your own domain for your business? And I'm wondering why not have one on wordpress and blogger? ?????? Rolling Eyes

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you I must have missed this post. Yes I do suggest buying your own domain name and starting your own site and add a blog to it. This way all the fresh content that you add to your blog will later on help you with the search engines. SE like websites that have fresh content and that update often. If you start a wordpress blog on wordpress all your posts sit on their domain.

Ya, you should most have blog, blog is place where you describe your topic clearly and from your blog search engine will get fresh content, it will help to increase your page rank. If you will link your blog to your website then it will be good.

You don't have to be a writer just to write blogs.You only need to have understanding and passion to what you are doing.I am blogger for almost a year and used different directories to promote what ever topic i have.
