I was wondering how many agents are using MySpace for networking or even just maketing and advertising. I have seen a big change in the networking end of things. One of the big ones was Active Rain , and now I'm seeing a lot more agents on myspace. I decided to start a myspace account, and thought I'd see what kind of advertising I can do for my directory. The url for my MySpace is myspace .com/usred. I figure I wouldn't link to it so I can keep my one way links from there coming to my site If you have an account stop by and introduce yourself. _________________ Thanks for joining US Real Estate Directory !!! | I have a Myspace account and I use it for networking alot. You can use the bulletin feature to post to everyone on your friends list. You can join networking groups and forums and post their or you can do a search for friends that are networking too. |

I have an account, but don't really use it. Just not enough hours in the day for everything that would be nice to do. _________________ Real Estate Agents visit our blog to for information about how to grow your business.

| I agree with you Ken, I'm not sure why I start some of the other projects when I know I don't have the time for the stuff I do now Ü |

I have my own personal myspace account which I have my own banner/text ads on. I am /kisschick1976 if anyone is at all interested. *shrug*
But I don't know how many of you know about directmatches.com. it's like Myspace for businesses. Plenty of networking oportunities and no 15 year old kids sending viruses. No spam mail of 'PLEASE COME LISTEN TO MY CRAPPY BAND YOU WILL NEVER HEAR OF AGAIN!' or if you are female like me... unrequested pictures of ... body parts.
I have been getting traffic from both accounts (with sales!), but of course the higher traffic comes from the Directmatches account.
Here's my profile on Directmatches...silly looking yes, but you will remember it! _________________ Vikki Gima

I haven't tried MySpace but have used Active Rain and Wanna Network. I have been reluctant to use MySpace as it seems to be so teen oriented. Maybe I need to reconsider _________________ Hubert Miles

I think Facebook is even more usefull. It gives a lot of marketing tips and options to do even marketing research.
On the other hand, they have segmented advertising, wich means you can chose who sees your ad and who doesn't.
I will recommend more facebook.com than myspace or hi5. Also, facebook is more visited for grown ups than myspace, myspace is more used by kids and teens. _________________ Rachel S.s.S.! |
