What if SEO doesn't work anymore?
Do you have ideas about possible techniques to use to market your site even without sly SEO techniques being employed? |

You need to make sure you put your website on all your marketing stuff. Business Cards, Newspaper ads, letter heads and on your signature for all your emails. Submit your site to industry related directories. _________________ Thanks for joining US Real Estate Directory !!! Blending your online and offline marking is key. Once you achieve good rankings online you can use this to market for new listings with direct mail and other traditional advertising methods. _________________ Real Estate Agents visit our blog to for information about how to grow your business.

| We are not saying that it isn't going to work anymore, just what you need to be doing as well for advertising. If you count only on your site ranking well to get business and then it stops you could be in trouble. |

| Ok. Use PPC. Add your site to everything, signature on emails, bus benches, magazines and ads in newspapers. |

I really do not see SEO not working. The search engines need to rely on an algorithm in order to produce results and it is The SEO job to determine what works best in each algorithm. However the techniques used today may not work in the future. We will just have to adapt to whatever the engines are looking for. Either way content is king and I can not foresee that changing. _________________ Jeffrey Funk

SEO always works for building sites and is the best and smartest way to go about it. You can use PPC to advertise your site but it brings no long term benefits, when you stop paying you stop getting traffic.
If you plan on being online for a while I would strongly urge you to start an seo campaign for your site. _________________ Real Estate License -- Real Estate Marketing |

The way I see it. SEO will stop working because of the SEO abuse. There are a lot of web pages that have NO USEFULL content, but they're ranked 5 up just for the SEO.
Is the same problem always with web advertising... I think SEO is on it's way to become something similar to SPAM. _________________ Rachel S.s.S.! |

Not everyone needs to understand SEO to rank well. Sites that offer useful content and provide value tend to do well because when people find them they visit them often and spread the word. Ranking well is not about deploying "sneaky" SEO tricks it is about building trust and getting people to talk about you.
Real estate in a niche market. Each city has its own set of players and those are the ones you need to be concerned with. Take your time and find ways to reach out to the community. Your website should be more of a business card or resume and you should be in the field developing relationships. _________________ Boise Idaho Real Estate Services and find what I think about Boise at Boise Idaho Blog |
