| Hi everybody. If anybody could point me to the right direction it will be greatly appreciated. I'm a 20-year-old male who is interested in REI. I have the startup money, but I’m wondering what should I do to start? I've studied and read books. I have some knowledge, but now I want to get into action. |

It all depends on what you want to do with the properties after you purchase them. Also, how many properties are you going to purchase?
The first thing I would do is set up a corporation. This does a few things for you. First it protects you and seperates your personal finance from being attacked if something goes wrong. Second it allows you to flip properties without having to pay large amounts of capital gains tax, and third it simply looks more professional.
Depending on your interest I would first get a business plan put together and have all your goals and mission statement figured out. Then begin your search for properties. Being organized is very important.
Hope this helps for starters. _________________ Troy Sage - Realtor - e-PRO
